Updated 18 September 2026 with Apple's confirmed specifications, prices and release dates.
Apple announced the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max on 9 September 2026. Here is what is confirmed, what it means for buyers in Lebanon, and — the part most guides skip — which of your current accessories still fit and which need replacing.
At PhoneHub Hadath we sell accessories for every iPhone generation, and we already stock cases and protection for the new Pro models.

Lebanon is not usually part of Apple's first launch wave, so phones typically reach local shops a few weeks after the global release. Accessories move faster — cases and protectors for the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max are already in stock at PhoneHub.
iPhone 18 Pro price
In the US, the iPhone 18 Pro starts at $1,199 and the iPhone 18 Pro Max at $1,299, both with 256GB of storage. That is $100 more than the iPhone 17 Pro launched at. For the first time, both models are offered with up to 2TB of storage.
Prices in Lebanon are set by local importers and resellers and are usually higher than US prices, because phones here are imported and bought outright rather than subsidised on a carrier contract.
Confirmed specifications
- Chip: A20 Pro, Apple's first 2nm chip. Apple quotes up to 20% faster CPU and up to 40% faster GPU performance than the A19 Pro, with a much larger vapor chamber for sustained performance.
- Main camera: a new 48MP Fusion Main camera with a variable aperture — four stops from f/1.48 to f/4.0 — on both the Pro and Pro Max. The wide f/1.48 setting gathers more light at night; the narrower stops give sharper group photos and more depth of field.
- Display: same 6.3-inch (Pro) and 6.9-inch (Pro Max) sizes, with a smaller Dynamic Island.
- Memory: 12GB RAM, the same as last year.
- Modem: Apple's own C2 modem.
- Weight: 211g (Pro) and 249g (Pro Max) — slightly heavier than last year.
- Colours: black, silver, glacier (light blue) and burgundy.
No standard iPhone 18 this year
Apple did not announce a standard iPhone 18 or iPhone 18e in September. They are widely reported to be coming in early 2027. If you want a new non-Pro iPhone this year, your choices are the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air or iPhone 17e — all of which remain on sale.
Which accessories fit the iPhone 18 Pro?
Cases — most iPhone 17 Pro cases fit
The iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max have exactly the same body dimensions as the iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max. The only exterior change is the camera plateau, which is a tenth of a millimetre thicker (11.5mm vs 11.4mm) to make room for the variable aperture mechanism.
Apple's official position is that iPhone 17 Pro cases are not listed as compatible — but in practice most cases with an open camera cutout fit both generations, and major brands now sell a single case for both. That is why our Pro and Pro Max cases are listed as iPhone 17/18 Pro and iPhone 17/18 Pro Max. Be more careful with cases that fully cover the camera plateau with three individual lens holes, because the new main lens is slightly larger than the other two.
Camera lens protectors — do NOT carry over
The camera island changed shape for the new main camera, so iPhone 17 Pro lens protectors and camera frames do not fit the iPhone 18 Pro. This is the one protection item you must buy new.
Screen protectors
Screen sizes are unchanged. Always choose glass that is listed for the iPhone 18 Pro or Pro Max so the cutouts and edges match exactly.
