USB Desktop Microphone Yesido KR18 - 360 Pickup, Noise Cancelling

The Yesido KR18 is a desktop USB microphone built for meetings, online classes and calls rather than studio recording. It picks up sound from all directions at once, so it captures everyone around a table without anyone leaning in, and active noise reduction filters out fan hum, air conditioning and street noise before it reaches the other end of the call. It plugs in over USB with no drivers to install.

Features

• 360 degree omnidirectional pickup - captures voices from every direction, so a whole meeting room or family table is covered by one mic
• Active noise reduction filters out steady background noise like fans, AC units and generators
• 48kHz / 24-bit sampling - the same sample rate as professional audio interfaces, not the 16-bit of cheap USB mics
• One-click mute button on the body - no hunting for the software mute during a call
• 60 degree tilt adjustment to angle the pickup toward the speakers
• 3.5mm monitoring output for plugging in headphones to hear yourself live
• Plug and play - works with Windows, macOS and Linux, plus mobile phones, with no driver installation
• Aluminium alloy and ABS build with enough weight to stay put on a desk

Omnidirectional or Directional - Which Do You Need?

Omnidirectional means it records everything around it equally. That is exactly what you want for a meeting with several people, a classroom, or a family video call. It is the wrong choice for solo voiceover or podcasting, where a directional mic that rejects room noise behind it will sound cleaner. If you are recording yourself alone for video content, a clip-on wireless mic will get closer to your voice and sound better.

What It's For

Zoom, Teams and Google Meet calls, online tutoring and lessons, recorded meetings, and any laptop whose built-in mic makes you sound like you are speaking from another room. The one-click mute and the headphone monitoring port are the two things that separate it from a cheap USB mic.
